Most scheduling tools stop at the rota. Brigadeur knows who is trained for what, and refuses to put anyone on a shift they are not cleared for.
The part nobody else does. Tag a shift with a role or a station and only staff who are signed off for it can be assigned — enforced on the server, not just hidden in the dropdown. Clearances carry an expiry date and are checked against the date of the shift, so training that lapses on Thursday will not cover Saturday.
A dense week grid banded by department. Save any week as a template and reuse it, or auto-fill the whole week against sign-offs, booked leave, stated availability and working-time limits. Publish to phones in one action; leave shifts open for staff to claim.
Training modules with quizzes marked server-side, so answers never reach the browser. Modules unlock in order. External certificates are uploaded, verified by a manager, and expire on schedule — the same engine that gates the rota.
